Hello Again Family and Friends... As some of you may know I have just returned from Dallas TX (way too hot and humid there!) after attending the Mary Kay "Celebrate the Dream" seminar. What an inspiring and fun trip. I learned a great deal, met some wonderful people and had a blast. I am learning to DREAM BIG! I wanted to share some of my thoughts and ideas with you. First some business...here are some facts I learned about the May Kay Corporation. 1. Mary Kay is a very "green" company. Mary Kay has recently released a new re-fillable compact and is recycling the old ones. For each compact turned in Mary Kay will plant a tree, up to 100,000 trees.2. All products are tested on people, not animals.3. The military and universities such as Harvard send representatives to seminar to study the "Mary Kay Way"...the company is run based upon the "golden rule" of service.4. Mary Kay has just released a second compact called the compact pro. The "pro" retails for $35. It can hold 12 eye shadows, 4 lip/eyeliners, brazing color, cheek color and 2 lip colors. It can hold less shadows and add a creme to powder foundation instead. Filled with 6 eye shadows, 2 lip colors, 1 eyeliner, 1 lip liner, 1 bronzer, 1 cheek color and a creme to powder foundation it retails for $159. A beautiful compact for all your needs.5. This is Mary Kay's 45th anniversary year. Big things are happening. I will be running specials to celebrate this.6. All of the new eye and cheek colors are mineral powders.7. Mary Kay has just launched 4 new women's fragrances...warm amber, simply cotton, sparkling honeysuckle and exotic passion fruit.8. There are some fabulous holiday gift ideas.
